Bendigo is a beautiful city with historical buildings and friendly community feel.There are a number of tourist attractions. See our Chinese artifacts including Sun Loong, the longest imperial dragon in the world which make an appearance at the huge Easter Festival. Also, the Atisha Center with the Great Stupa which is soon to become the most significant Buddhist temple in the world - it hosts the
fantastic Vegecarian festival on the 1st of November. Walk in the footsteps of past miners at the historical Goldmine tour (a 2 minute walk away); visit the Pottery where you can throw your own pot (8 min. drive) and browse popular antique and collectible shops all within walking distance. There is a strong music culture with the Bendigo Blues and Roots festival in early November and live bands performing at many venues throughout the year - some of which are a short stroll away from the house. If you'd prefer a quiet night in, enjoy a movie from a huge selection on the 42 inch 3D TV with over 700 movies, documentaries and TV shows to choose from or simply sit in front of the open fire place with a glass of wine. There is
off street parking under a carport. There is also a high chair for the little one I am very open to having you bring your pet for a holiday. There is a medium sized doggy door in the laundry area that can be closed off from the rest of the house if need be. High speed Wi-Fi internet, full kitchen and laundry facilities with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Interaction with Guests
There is a door code that will be supplied to you when you arrive. Michele is always a phone call away to cater to anything you need or to answer any questions you have. There is also a key for the bike chain around the bicycle under the carport attached to the front door keys. The Neighbourhood
The street has been blocked off from CBD 'through' traffic, which makes it a very quiet and peaceful street but still within a 5 minute walk to everything. The garden and courtyard is well maintained with many herbs sprouting from all corners for use in the kitchen or in your cocktail. Getting Around
There is also a childrens playground 1 minute walk from the property.
