Today we remember a very dear friend of The Whitehorse Hotel, Colin Mansfield, or Col, as we all knew him. ❤️
Col sadly passed away on August 3rd, and we wanted to take a moment to remember this quiet, gentle man who was such a special part of the Whitehorse family during our time there 💕
Col was a true gentleman, quiet, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and the sort of person who could fix just about anything. He was always tinkering away at something, and if something needed fixing, Col was usually the man who knew how to do it 🔨
We have so many fond memories of Col, including his Friday night beers with Viv, and the fun he had joining us on the Social Club outings. He was one of those people who didn’t need to be the loudest in the room to be noticed, his quiet presence, kindness and genuine nature said more than enough.
We feel very privileged to have known Col and to have shared so many wonderful memories with him at The Whitehorse 🍻
