What an awesome year for our footy tipping comp!Big congratulations to Chris D for taking out the win with a huge score of 155 and a fantastic prize of $2,220!

Second place was extremely close with 154, followed by four people tied for 3rd place on 153.

Well done to everyone who got involved, and a big thank you to everyone who popped in each week to enjoy your free pot while putting in your tips!

Live music is back!
From October, we’ll have live music in the beer garden every Sunday from 12–3pm.

Good tunes, cold drinks and hopefully some sunshine.

We’ll also have a few extra live music dates around Christmas for all your Christmas parties and end-of-year catch-ups!

This one’s a tough one… after many years behind the bar, it’s time for us to say goodbye to Emily.

Emily has been an OG at the OTH, starting with the previous owners before heading off to Melbourne for her studies. When we took over the pub, we gave all the staff a call, not knowing Emily had moved away. As luck would have it, she was just about to move back home. Safe to say, that was one of the best happy accidents we could’ve asked for.

Emily is loved by our staff, our regulars, and just about everyone who’s had the pleasure of being served by her. She’s hilarious, incredibly hardworking, always smiling, and one of the kindest people you’ll meet. She’s been such a huge part of the OTH family!

Wishing you all the best for your final year of study, Emily. We know you’re going to make an amazing teacher, and your future students will be so lucky to have you.
