Well can you believe it's been nearly 15 years that Bellbird has been home to us and yourselves. It's time for Christmas wishes and some news. 🥰

Once known as the Gingerbread house by locals, Bellbird has been a nurturing space for so many, ourselves included.

As many of you would know, we have been gradually winding back in recent times, and even more recently we have now farewelled our last guests ❣️❣️

Yes the time has come, we will no longer be operating Bellbird as a B&B. It is with much sadness and excitement that we start the next chapter of our lives. Bellbird has been sold.

While our intention is to remain in the region, we aim to simplify and take the opportunity for more time for family, friends and travel.

Thank you ❣️We have absolutely loved our time as B&B hosts. You have warmed our hearts and souls and we will miss you❣️ Our treasured memories we will hold dear.🥰🥰

It's been a tad chilly lately 😅 😍

Snowcapped mountains 🏔️ and whales! 🐋 Nope, we're not making this up. 😱 A cold snap on Sunday morning delivered a fresh blanket of snow to our highest peaks, as a beautiful humpback whale cruised south along the Sapphire Coast on its journey to Antarctica. 💙

Thanks David Rogers Photography for capturing this remarkable image on board Sapphire Coastal Adventures. They were located off Haywards Beach near Bermagui, looking west towards the mountains beyond Cobargo and the high country of the Snowy Mountains region.❄️

Heads up on road closure 😊

!!WAPENGO CREEK BRIDGE CLOSURE FOR MAINTENANCE WORKS!!
Maintenance works on Wapengo Creek bridge will begin on Monday 18 July (weather permitting) and require the closure of Tathra Bermagui Road to all traffic at the bridge from 9am to 3pm Tuesday 19 July to Friday 22 July. Closure times are worked around school pick-up and drop-off times with the bus being able to operate with these times. Message boards will be placed at Bermagui, Tarraganda and Mogareeka. Traffic control will be in place at the intersections of Tathra Bermagui Road and Doctor George Mountain Road as well as Tathra Bermagui Road and Cuttagee Beach Road.

Are we surprised 🥰🥰

Bermagui's Blue Pool has been presented a Tripadvisor Traveler's Choice Award this year 🎉👏👏🥳🥳 This has become an annual occurrence and we are very chuffed about it 🥰👍 The Blue Pool is a fabulous place to swim, snorkel, picnic and watch for whales - definitely a "must do" if you are visiting our beautiful seaside village.
