Beach or desert? We might be a little biased! 😉 There’s truly nothing like a sunset at the top of Big Red 😍

We’re still smiling from all the rodeo fun last weekend 🤠

A big thanks to everyone who made the trip out, supported the events, and helped make it such a great few days. We loved having you here and feel incredibly lucky to be part of a community that knows how to welcome people and put on a great weekend.

Thanks for making Birdsville such a great place to be. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we look forward to seeing you back out here again soon. ❤️

Rodeo Weekend is here! 🤠

The caravans are rolling in and Birdsville is buzzing. It’s always a great sight seeing the park come alive with visitors who’ve travelled from all over to be here.

If you’re staying with us this weekend, we hope you have a fantastic time. Enjoy the rodeo, catch up with old mates, make some new ones, and enjoy the best of Birdsville.

Ever stopped to think about how everything gets to Birdsville?

From groceries and fresh produce to fuel and supplies, most of it arrives on a road train. These drivers spend long hours covering huge distances to bring essential goods to our Outback communities.

It's easy to take for granted when the shelves are full, but without road train drivers, life out here would look very different.

We'd like to say a big thank you to all the drivers who make the trip to Birdsville and other remote communities. We appreciate the work you do to keep us connected.

If you see a road train in town, give the driver a wave. Chances are they've travelled a long way to get here. 🚛 👋

Can’t wait to see everyone in September! 🐎

Yesterday brought the rain. Today brings endless blue skies.

From the deep red earth to the bright sky above, days like these showcase the natural beauty of the Outback.

A reminder that some of the most beautiful mornings come after the storm. ☀️🌱

Every visitor makes a difference. Thanks for supporting our Outback communities. ❤️

Out here, every visit counts. It’s connection. It’s livelihood. It’s community.

The friendly wave as you roll into town.

The stories shared, the meals served, the doors kept open.

It helps keep somewhere going.

So if you’ve been second guessing that road trip…
maybe this is your reminder that it matters.
