Kubba Roonga Guesthouse is a beautiful heritage guesthouse set in established English gardens. It was built as a private residence in 1915 and aptly named "Kubba Roonga", which means "Peaceful Place" in the language of the local Aboriginals. Kubba Roonga started operating as a guesthouse in 1932 before World War II, and has generated happy memories for three generations of guests since. It is the

perfect place to escape and experience old world guesthouse charm and the magic of the Blue Mountains. A pleasant walk from Blackheath village and surrounded by the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park, you can go for a bushwalk in pristine Australian bush; wander around some of the many lovely English gardens; build up an appetite with a round of golf; sample the cuisine at some of Blackheath's fine eateries; or simply laze around the winter open fire at the Guesthouse. The original Guesthouse has been altered over the years to provide modern levels of comfort to guests, but it has retained its old world ambience and original charm, with gorgeous polished wood floors in the public areas, antique furniture and original artworks. Kubba Roonga Guesthouse has a AAA 4.5 Star rating and provides two guest dining rooms and two guest lounge areas where you can relax by the fire, read the newspapers, enjoy the guest library, play an old record, or indulge in lazy board games whilst enjoying one of our delicious platters or cafe treats. In Spring & Summer enjoy our complimentary LAVISH Continental Breakfast in our outdoor settings amongst our lovely established english gardens.
