This sounds like a pretty cool day out to celebrate Fathers Day tomorrow

Spring into Father's Day this Sunday 6 September, at the Valley Heights Rail Museum.

Join our special Father's Day opening and enjoy all the excitement of a steam train ride to thrill Dad and the whole family.

If capacity permits, there may even be the chance to upgrade to an early "BIG" Barbeque Breakfast 8:30am, 9am or 9:30am. Alternatively enjoy a Sausage Sizzle or Egg and Bacon roll from the barbeque or relax with some light refreshments from the shop.

Lots to see to keep dad entertained on his day. Explore the many exhibits inside the 112-year-old roundhouse, Railway art and model railway displays.

Rides depart hourly commencing from 10:30 until 2:30pm. Enjoy and experience a ride on the unique "Valley Heights Mixed" steam hauled train enjoy a 15-20 journey back in time in a century old Cowboy type suburban passenger carriage.

You may even find that something special from our range pre-loved book sales and usual quirky merchandise to supplement his Father's Day gift.

Tickets can be purchased at the door but to secure your preferred ride time we recommend you book to secure and reserve seats.
