Just 15 minutes from the Chalets, Blackheath’s local apple orchard is quietly one of the most special experiences of the season. Crisp air, rows of trees, and apples picked straight from the branch — sweet, fragrant, and nothing like what you’ll find in a supermarket.

It’s one of those simple, grounding moments that stays with you long after you leave.

Open to the public on Saturdays, guests can wander the orchard and take home a beautiful box of freshly picked apples — a little piece of the mountains to enjoy later.

If you’re staying with us this season, we highly recommend making time for it.

The day Hasbro reached out asking to meet about a Blue Mountains Monopoly board will go down as one of the funnest meetings of my life.
Sitting in their Sydney office, talking through our region, our story, and imagining how this board could come to life felt so surreal… and now it’s finally here.

We are beyond thrilled to see Chalets at Blackheath featured on the official Blue Mountains Monopoly board — celebrating the magic of this place in the most nostalgic, playful way.
