Rowan Brae Rowan Brae built Est 1890 Built as the summer home of philanthropist, industrialist and grazier Ebenezer Vickery from 1890 to 1906.

The building was used as a private school from the late 1930s to 1948. In the years after it was converted into three apartments. From the 1980’s it was remodeled for use as a well known guest house with weddings and restaurant. Presently the main house has been converted back to a grand private residence. The South Wing with 8 en-suite bedrooms, private entry and separate grounds is still open to

the public with bookings available through Airbnb. The house is set within a substantial heritage listed mature garden. Rowan Brae is considered an exceptional example of a substantial Federation Arts and Crafts house with high quality detailing.
