Located in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains at Blackheath, Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway, is a family owned, boutique accommodation facility. Not only is our business the ideal holiday setting, but also the perfect base from which to explore the spectacular scenery and many tourist attractions our region has to offer. Our 17 self-contained family cottages can accommodate up to 79 people, with a host of on-site activities to keep our guests entertained.

So lovely when guests write of memories made and moments captured here at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway. Thank you to our recent guest Lauren for such kind words ..... "Returning here after 40yrs with my own family was incredibly special. I have some of my happiest childhood memories at Federation Gardens, and it was wonderful to share with my children the same sense of fun, adventure and happiness that I remember.
The place still has all the charm and magic :-) The only thing I was a little sad to see was that the old log fire has been replaced with a gas fire—the crackling fire was such a special part of my childhood memories.
Thank you for another memorable stay. It was a nostalgic, full-circle experience that our family will treasure - and will do again!! A new tradition in train."

"Mother's Day Memories.
We’ve stayed at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway for Mother’s Day weekend two years in a row with our extended family and have had a wonderful experience each time. The cabins are very well equipped, very clean, comfortable and perfect for families.
The facilities are fantastic for all age groups — we enjoyed tennis, chess, volleyball, table tennis, and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit together. It’s such a relaxing and fun place to spend quality time with family. Location is great, right in the heart of Blackheath. Highly recommend for a family getaway!"
