Did you catch us on Hello SA on Sunday night? 👀☀️

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Lauren and the Hello SA crew to Roonka River Adventure Park to show off one of South Australia’s best kept secrets!

Lauren was an absolute legend - jumping on the kayaks at 6 months pregnant and embracing everything Roonka has to offer like a pro 🚣‍♀️💛

And the best part? This segment was filmed in mid-May and it was 25 degrees and sunny! ☀️ While the rest of SA was reaching for the heaters, Roonka was serving up warm days, riverside adventures and blue skies.

That’s right, adventurers - from tomorrow, campfires are back and ready for those classic riverside nights.

There’s nothing quite like gathering around the flames, sharing stories with fellow campers, and soaking up the simple magic of a night under the stars. ✨

Campfires at Roonka are available for overnight guests, with shared campfire circles designed for connection, conversation, and that true community camping feel. We’ve got some firewood available to get you started, but we recommend bringing a little extra if you’re keen to keep the fire roaring well into the night.

Warmer than Adelaide (as always😉), which means prime time for camping, river time and getting the kids outdoors.

Powered camping is fully booked, but your Easter escape isn’t off the table just yet. We still have a limited number of unpowered spaces, bell tents and bunkrooms available for the extra-long Easter weekend!

Bell tents and bunkrooms are the perfect way to enjoy Roonka without the packing, pitching or setup. Bell tents give you that relaxed glamping feel , while bunkrooms offer a comfy, fuss-free base for families or groups who just want to arrive and start adventuring.

Set right on the River Murray near Blanchetown (an hour and 40 mins North-East of Adelaide), it’s a place where families can:

At Roonka, adventure comes in all shapes (and splashes).

Race a mate on the dual Flying Fox, slide, splash and repeat on the Riverslide, then ground yourself with orienteering, photo hunts and the Echidna Trail.

There’s bouldering for the climbers, Gaga Ball for the high-energy crew, and plenty of time on the water - kayaking on the billabong or paddling out onto the River Murray by canoe or kayak.

Days like these end with tired arms, grubby shoes and very happy campers.
