💦 GET READY TO ROONKA 🛶

Spring school holidays are just around the corner – and Roonka is very well booked! 🙌

But if you're still making plans, we've got a little window of opportunity…

🏡 The Lodge – our cosy two-bedroom Riverland retreat – is still available on the weekends either side of the school holidays. Perfect for a relaxed family escape by the river, with plenty of space to explore, unwind and enjoy some proper screen-free time together. There's also a few camping spaces on our powered and unpowered sites, and some bunkrooms up for grabs.

And at just 1 hour and 40 minutes from Adelaide, just outside Blanchetown, you don't have to travel far for a proper Riverland escape.

Fly across the billabong on the Flying Fox, grab a sit-on-top kayak and have a paddle, hire kayaks or canoes to explore the backwaters of the Murray, brave our famous waterslide straight into the river, or stay on dry land with bouldering and Gaga Ball.

But probably not for long!

Did you catch us on Hello SA on Sunday night? 👀☀️

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Lauren and the Hello SA crew to Roonka River Adventure Park to show off one of South Australia’s best kept secrets!

Lauren was an absolute legend - jumping on the kayaks at 6 months pregnant and embracing everything Roonka has to offer like a pro 🚣‍♀️💛

And the best part? This segment was filmed in mid-May and it was 25 degrees and sunny! ☀️ While the rest of SA was reaching for the heaters, Roonka was serving up warm days, riverside adventures and blue skies.

That’s right, adventurers - from tomorrow, campfires are back and ready for those classic riverside nights.

There’s nothing quite like gathering around the flames, sharing stories with fellow campers, and soaking up the simple magic of a night under the stars. ✨

Campfires at Roonka are available for overnight guests, with shared campfire circles designed for connection, conversation, and that true community camping feel. We’ve got some firewood available to get you started, but we recommend bringing a little extra if you’re keen to keep the fire roaring well into the night.

Warmer than Adelaide (as always😉), which means prime time for camping, river time and getting the kids outdoors.
