Open for wet weather bookings (accommodation) Spectacular luscious camping grounds with a fully equipped camp kitchen. Tropical Fruits, Rainforest and Beaches.

Bloomfield Beach Camp is situated on 10 acres of land including 5 acres of protected rainforest in Far North Queensland. Great for informal gatherings around the bonfire or BBQ. Sleeping cabins and Safari Tents are available with close proximity to the clean and functional amenities. There is one self-contained cottage that can sleep up to six people (a two night minimum booking applies to the cot

tage). Hideaway Licensed Cafe and Restaurant is temporarily closed pending new management. When operating, the space holds a unique peaceful ambience where you could just sit and read or share a laugh with friends and catch up on local news and gossip :). Local attractions include: Snorkelling or Diving on The Great Barrier Reef and Hope Island,, Wujal Wujal Arts Centre and Aboriginal Community, the Bloomfield Falls, the Bloomfield River. Fishing (Barramundi season open from February to November). Spectacular Flora and Fauna for the nature lovers. Not to forget crocodiles and wild boars for the more adventurous. And so much more.....

There is a range of wildlife on the park - including mum and baby - Agile Wallaby.

Shhhhhhh .... you will see them wandering around nibbling grass if you are quiet enough.

Book your powered and unpowered sites online - so much green grass with a nightly fire pit, hot showers, quiet and fishing within 2km.

Q: Where can I cook when I am at Bloomfield Cabins and Camping?
A: There is a fully functioning Camp Kitchen for all guest to use. BBQ's, microwave, cooktop, kettle, toaster plus cooking pots'n'pans, plates, knives and forks.

The camp kitchen is also a great place to tap into the free WiFi and swing in the hammock. There may even be a buch of bananas ready to share!

The gateway to from Mossman to the Daintree - the Daintree Ferry.

The region is very excited for the pending upgrade to this service, it does mean disruptions during 2026. There may be delays between ferry trips as work crews do what they need to on the river banks.

Avoid the delays. Travel the inland way, via Mulligan Highway, set up on a powered or unpowered site, here at Bloomfield Cabins and Camping. Spend a couple of nights in an amazing part of the world. Hot showers. Camp Kitchen. Amenities.

Just a short 10km north of the Bloomfield Track, leave your camp behind and spend the day exploring the Daintree forrest - as far as the ferry ☺️.

The Bloomfield Track!

Stunning 4WD 30km track between Cape Tribulation and Wujal Wujal in far North QLD. Creek crossings, 30 degree climbs, amazing views and magnificent scenery through the world heritage area of the Daintree Forest.

Not suitable to tow. Big red signs at each end of the track advise of this.

Why not, take the inland road (Mulligan Highway) and stay here, at Bloomfield Cabins and Camping. Spend a couple of nights and explore without hassle of your tow ruining your holiday.

Only 10km from the northern end of the track, we have powered and unpowered sites set amongst lush grounds and rainforest. Hot showers. Camp Kitchen. Camp Fire.

Book a powered or unpowered site and fish your heart out. Weary Bay is only a kilometer drive and the fishing - when it is on - it is ON!
