Meet our resident turtle 🐢 the Team have named him Tortellini.
So great to see him daily near our pontoon!! Very happy hero in a half shell!! Plan a stay and come and meet him and maybe you might see the dolphins and the sting ray!!

Hello all. We are safe. We have had no power since Monday and have only been able to access this post via a mobile phone, as we have no service or phones or any communication. We have taken a bit of damage, including the deck area and some rooms, but we are better off than many. If you have been trying to get through to us and have not been successful, this is why. We will cross our fingers for power soon!!! Energex are everywhere, along with the tree people, and are doing an amazing job rebuilding the island's power. Thanks to everyone for getting Bribie back up and running.

Housekeeping position- Casual

We Currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic local to join the team of Bribie Island's favourite and highest occupancy Motel on a casual basis. If required will be around 10-15 hours a week after initial training. Located at 155 Welsby Parade, Bribie Waterways is a 27 room Motel situated right by the water. We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences
Ideal candidates must:
• Have the ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Possess a keen eye for detail + excellent organizational skills.
• An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals.
• Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Effective time management skills.
• A friendly, customer focused attitude with a Genuine commitment to guest services + effective communication skills.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning role preferred but not absolutely essential. Team shirt supplied
While the roll is a casual On-Call basis the successful applicant will be available both weekdays & weekends including peak travel periods. Casual On-call Shifts are assigned when required based on business needs. Would suit someone who does not need a minimum hours but happy to work more one week than the next and not having to work all the time.
