Castle Hotel Bothwell The Castle Hotel is a large Georgian style property, continuously licensed since 1829, making it one of the oldest licensed hotels in Australia.

The accommodation at the Castle has been refurbished. The rooms have been tastefully decorated with older style furniture blended with modern facilities including DVD player, television and bar fridge. Guests have access to a veranda where they can relax and take in views across the town’s park. The bathrooms blend luxury with utility; soft thick bathrobes provided for guests. Besides standard pub

fare, the menu includes specials such as Moroccan Lamb Tagine and own Smoked Trout Nicoise salad. The cosy dining room is open from Monday to Sunday for lunch, evenings on Friday and Saturday. Mid-week Wednesday is Pizza Night. Inhouse guests are catered for at all times.

This Monday 1st June the Castle Hotel will be open from 12 to 7 pm. We will be serving lunch between 12 and 2 pm, as a once off.
The following Monday the 8th the Kings Birthday Public Holiday, the Castle Hotel will be closed for that day.
We will reopening on Tuesday the 9th of June at 12 pm.
