This week, we had some extraordinary visitors pass by our doorstep! 🐋💙
Our own little whale-watching experience unfolded right here at the resort, as a pod of whales made their way north, swimming past Whitsunday Sands in the morning. 🌊🐋
There’s something pretty special about waking up, looking out over the ocean and watching these magnificent creatures making their journey along the coast. It was an absolute joy to see them pass by our resort! 💙

Here are just a few of our favourites, all within easy reach by walking or a short drive from Whitsunday Sands Resort:

🌊 Grays Bay – Located just minutes from your room, on the West side of the Resort where you experience the most breathtaking Sunsets. A hidden gem with calm waters, beautiful coastal views and scenic walking trails. The perfect spot for a relaxing stroll or to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the ocean.

🌊 Horseshoe Bay – Located just minutes from your room, on the East side of the Resort where you experience the most amazing Sunrises & Moonrises. Bowen’s most iconic beach, famous for its crystal-clear water, impressive granite boulders and breathtaking views. A must-visit during your stay!

✨ What an Incredible Few Weeks at Whitsunday Sands Resort! ✨
The past few weeks have been incredibly special for us here at Whitsunday Sands Resort. From receiving awards to celebrating our 7-year anniversary, we've been reflecting on how amazing this journey has been.

Seven years ago, we set out with a vision to create a welcoming place where guests could relax, make memories, and feel at home. Looking back, we're so proud of everything we've achieved together.

John and I (Janet) have loved every moment of being part of this beautiful resort. We've had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful guests, have meet some lifelong friends, and we've been fortunate to work alongside an incredible team of loyal and dedicated staff who have shared our passion every step of the way.

Over the past seven years, we've worked hard to make many valued improvements and positive changes throughout the resort to enhance the experience for everyone who stays with us. Seeing those improvements enjoyed by our guests has been one of our greatest rewards, and we're excited because there's still so much more to come!

Like any journey, there have been challenges along the way, but together we've overcome them, shared plenty of laughs, celebrated many milestones, and created memories we'll cherish forever.

To our wonderful guests, our amazing staff, our friends, and everyone who has supported us over the years. We would like to thank you. Your kindness, loyalty, encouragement, and friendship have meant more to us than words can express. You have helped make Whitsunday Sands Resort the special place it is today, and we are truly grateful to have shared this journey with you.

Here's to celebrating the memories we've made, the friendships we've built, and an exciting future filled with even more wonderful moments.
