TODAY is one of your last chances to walk to North Head Lighthouse in 2026! 🏝️🪸

This afternoon’s exceptionally low tide opens up the incredible sandbar from Dalrymple Point — giving you the chance to walk around 1km across to the historic lighthouse.

⏰ Low tide: around 2:50pm
🥾 Aim to leave Dalrymple Point around 1:50pm

Keep an eye out for colourful red starfish along the way! ⭐

Wear sturdy reef shoes, take water, sunscreen and a hat, and keep a close eye on conditions and the tide. The crossing is undertaken at your own risk.

Can’t make it today? Tomorrow, Wednesday 12 August, is your final chance for 2026, with low tide around 3:30pm.

Walking past a guests van today and we found an extra guest that was not noted on their booking. Now we have a problem working out what to charge . He was just standing their under the awning it a dummy booking.

What ever you needs may be, we have accommodation to suit. Recently had 18 overseas uni students stay over while studying our country and the local area. 18 one man tents very organised group .
