Hotel Brandon is located 74kms south of Townsville in the beautiful Burdekin, known mostly for its sugar cane. Between the months of June to November of an evening our local cane farmers burn their cane crops to remove excess leaf matter and trash. The blazing fires are quite a sight to see
at night, this spreads ash through the sky and is commonly known as Black Snow. Hotel Brandon is the perfect place for your next outing, no matter what the occasion, with a public bar, restaurant, TAB and Keno Facilities. We also have a rather tropical and relaxing beer garden for those of you that wish to dine outside. Hotel Brandon has a large restaurant which can also cater for large functions seating up to 110 guests. Accommodation is available in one of our self contained one or two bedroom cabins. Cabins can sleep 1 to 4 people depending on your needs and pricing starts at $89 up $130 for a family of 4. Each cabin is fully self contained with 2 burner gas cook top stove air conditioning, flat screen TV and a bar fridge and separate bathroom. Feeling hungry or thirsty? Drop in for a $10 lunch or choose something off our special board or menu. We cater to suit everyone’s taste buds, whether it is a nice juicy steak or a hamburger, you can then wash it down with one of the coldest beers in the Burdekin. Our restaurant hours are between 11.30am – 2pm for lunch and 5.30pm – 8pm for dinner. Children are also catered for; all kids meals are $9.90 and come with a free ice-cream. Or even if you're a bit tired from driving and need to refresh, we have delicious coffee and cake available to recharge your batteries. When driving into the carpark take a look at the roof, you will notice there is a plane in it. Depending on who you talk to the story is always different, but each story is also very interesting, one has suggested that a crop dusting plane crashed into it and so it was just left there and became Brandons equivalent to the Big Mango.
