The 29.2km Ocean Grove → Breamlea ride/walk is a stunning way to take in river views, beach scenery and long open stretches of coast.

Have you noticed that the small-leafed clematis (Clematis microphylla) is now in seed across the coastal reserves next to our caravan parks? You might spot its distinctive fluffy white seed heads drifting over shrubs, fences and tree canopies 🌿. This native woody vine climbs up to three metres and is often recognised by the soft, wispy masses that appear once flowering has finished.
If you’re out on the trails this weekend, keep an eye out for its characteristic seed heads across the dunes and coastal scrub.
