OFFICIAL STATEMENT – NEW YEAR’S EVE 2026
For the past 22 years, the Bremer Bay Resort has proudly hosted what has become one of Western Australia’s most iconic regional New Year’s Eve celebrations. What began as a local party has grown into one of the biggest NYE events outside of Perth, and that’s entirely because of the incredible support from our community and the thousands of people who have celebrated with us over the years.
After much consideration, we have made the decision NOT to hold our annual New Year’s Eve event this year.
This has not been an easy choice. As the event has grown, so have the costs and responsibilities involved. The increasing expense of security, live entertainment, compliance and risk management means we can no longer deliver the event to the standard of safety and quality that our guests and team deserve. We realise this news will disappoint many people.
Bremer Bay Resort will remain open and operate as normal over the New Year’s Period. We will still be welcoming guests, serving great food and drinks and celebrating the holiday season, just without the large-scale NYE event.
To everyone who has danced, celebrated, worked, volunteered and made memories with us over the past 22 years: thank you! Your support has made this event something truly special and we are incredibly proud of the legacy it has created. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to the Resort over the summer.
