D E C O R A T I N G. I was looking back at last year’s holiday decorations and reflecting on what I liked about what we did and what I could change up for this year.

Next thing I know I have a new Pinterest board and I’m dreaming of cinnamon sticks and different colour paper stars! I will try to use some natural elements again like the orange slices and pinecones.

Have you decorated yet? Let me know what you’re planning for your home/or rental property if you’re a host!

Stay tuned for the finish product next weekend!

S P O O K Y . In honour of All Hallows’ Eve tomorrow evening, please enjoy these beautiful photos of the Cider Gum Eucalypt, a tree found only here in Tasmania. With their erratic, spiny branches, they give off spooky vibes even in the middle of the day.

As a Canadian, Halloween has always been a special date on the family calendar — choosing pumpkins, planning costumes, carving faces, roasting seeds, and decorating the house. 🎃

I know there’s some anti-Halloween sentiment in Australia, that it’s “too American,” but I’m excited to share these traditions with my young daughter. To me, it’s always been so much more than just lollies!

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate and those who don’t — I think we can all still appreciate the spookiness found in nature around us.

H O U S E T O U R. Welcome to a little tour of . It’s not just about the big spaces—take a closer look and you’ll find the little things that make it fun: nooks, crannies filled with books, hidden drawings tucked around corners, bursts of bright paint, and our graffiti wall. We change the decor slightly with the seasons but it will always be the best place we know to do nothing. ✨

A U T U M N. Summer has left the chat. The leaves are falling. The fire is crackling. The bath is steaming. You may see an aurora or two & and most definitely some spectacular sunsets.

Autumn has arrived at Camp Nowhere—where the days are shorter, the nights are colder, and the wood fire is your new best friend. Sink into the deep soaking tub, trace the graffiti wall by candlelight, do a truffle hunt at the nearby , cook on the open fire or rug up on the couch reading Walshy’s memoir.

A few spots left for Autumn and if you miss out the Off Season is upon us from May. 🍂

A R T I S A N. We love Artisan suppliers and products at the Camp from soaps and hair care to leather coasters, chain and log carriers. We try for Tassie businesses as much as we can, but have a few bits and pieces from Australia and even Canada!

I’ve listed a few of our fav Camp products here for interest! 👌

“Wow, wow! We absolutely loved this place and wish we’d stayed longer. So cosy and private. The wood burning fire was definitely our highlight. Ashley also provided lots of treats and essentials. They’ve really thought of everything. Would 100% come back. Thank you!” 💌
