irds, wander around the 2 1/2 acres of garden, talk to the chooks or Audie and Mopsy, our labradoodles, walk down to the river or simply sit under the lean-to wood shed and while away the hours. Rates are $160/night for two adults, including fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar, nibbles, biscuits and pantry basics.

Our Story

The Shed on Blackwood is rustic up-cycling: from the basic shed, to the doors, the window latches and the bathroom's door, The Shed has been completely modernised with a new kitchen and bathroom, freshly painted and tiled, with new furniture - nothing prevents you having a very comfortable stay with us. Spend hours watching the myriad of birds, wander around the 2 1/2 acres of garden, talk to the chooks or Audie and Mopsy, our labradoodles, walk along the river path or simply sit under the lean-to shed and while away the hours. Rates are $125/night for two adults, including bread, milk, sugar, jams, s&p, oil, herbs. Minimum of two nights stay, minimum three nights over long weekends or special events like Blues at Bridgetown. Orders for additional provisions at cost - 24 hours notice required please. Please check the availability calendar on Airbnb - all new guest bookings must go through Airbnb but returning guests may be able to book directly through us.

We are very close to sections of the Bibbulmen Track and we now offer a pick-up or drop-off service if booked in conjunction with at least two night’s accommodation at The Shed on Blackwood.
