Bespoke Holiday House - Bright A restored Mid Century Accommodation located on the famous Delany Avenue. Bright, North East Victoria. Modern art mixed with vintage photos hang on the walls.

This is an accommodation located in a small North East Victorian town. The weatherboard house tastefully restored with all the modern facilities but respecting the era of the home. The interior has a light and airy feel to it with some lively and fresh colours. The furniture is a combination of restored pieces and modern design. The interior spaces are all well thought out from the window locations to attract light, the open plan rear for a more pleasant outlook and decoration through colour choices, artwork, wallpaper, furniture and accessories. The accommodation is ideally suited to couples or small groups. Sorry not suitable for children under 10 yrs. Yes we are cycle and dog friendly.

Never lie: Always be honest.
This is the most important value I can think of but doesn’t seem to be as important as it once was… especially in politics.

Don’t take advantage of others: You work hard to achieve the things you want in this life.

Respect: treat others with kindness, especially the elderly. You never know what people have lived or what experience’s they have had in their lives. Most have a very interesting story to tell.

Don’t be wasteful: this one is easy when you know how hard you worked to purchase or achieve something in first place.

A new edition to Bespoke is this stunning oak and glass merch cabinet…. It fits the space just right and has the perfect 50’s vibe.
It’s currently filled with my original watercolour artworks but I am also putting on my graphic designer hat and working on some Bright souvenirs. I might even pop in some of my one-off designer handbags depending on interest.
I had a slightly different vision for this space but always intended to include a cool lamp and artwork.
I am so in love with this lamp… honestly it took a ridiculous amount of time to find just the right one. I have been searching every vintage sales platform available for over a year now and finally jumped on this perfect peachy pink Italian made lamp.

Ahhh Springtime in Bright… how we love you!
The Bright Festival of Photography (BFOP) is coming up this weekend and the gardens at Bespoke Holiday house decided to put on a colour show.

A great walk in Bright is Apex lookout walk… a short meandering climb brings you to an opening in the bush overlooking the township of Bright.

TOP TIPS:
- You can either walk up Mt Porepunkah road to the start of the walk or park in the saddle and start the walk from there.
- This is an intermediate walk with rocky surface and a hill climb.
- Dog friendly but as always there is a risk of other walkers and native wildlife so on lead is recommended.
- There is a huge variety of tiny flowers, if you keep your eyes peeled you will see so many.
- Take your time.. breathe in the fresh air, listen to the birds and take a moment at the top to take it all in.

Happy 12th Birthday!!!!

It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years this month since we welcomed our first guests. The house has changed and evolved so much over those years but our love and commitment to this property and its history remain strong.
There have been highs and lows but we are so proud of what we have achieved and preserved.
The highlights definitely have to be the beautiful guests who love and appreciate what we have created, the wildlife that makes it home, the street that fills with autumn colour every year, the garden that shines with colour, all the doggies that feel joy here, the guests taking photos of their stay, an outlet for me to be creative and the happiness we feel knowing that we have saved and been respectful to this place.
As with all businesses there are lows and it can get difficult at times but we have nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.
Pride and joy are what we feel when we look at how far we have come….
Happy 12th Birthday Bespoke Holiday House… There will be many more!

It’s a beautiful thing watching our wildlife at home in the gardens here at Bespoke Holiday House… for them to feel comfortable in our presence is really something special.

The Canyon walk is one of the most beautiful and well known walks along the Ovens river in Bright… you do not want to miss out on this one.

TOP TIPS:
- There are two swing bridges meaning for a short easy walk turn back at the first but for more advanced walkers head on to the second.
- Dog friendly but keep them on lead as there are lots of cliffs, holes and drop-offs.
- Not suited to those who are not steady in their feet as there are lots of steps and walking over rocky areas.
- This particular video shows the river very high and fast but in summer months has lots of great spots for a dip to cool off.
