Ellie Mae's Bed & Breakfast Welcome to our luxurious, traditional, warm B&B full of charm, character and history in the heart of beautiful Bright. Grandmum's Cottage is quaint and quiet.

Built in the late 1890s for Mr Edward Hunter, the first manager of the Bright Pioneer Gold Mine, Ellie Mae's Bed & Breakfast has all the charm and character of yesteryear with a contemporary approach to two impressive rooms (each with ensuite and own private lounge) and two beautifully appointed cottages. Amazingly, Mr Hunter, his wife and their nine children all lived here! Ellie, Harry and I (Li

bby) welcome you to feel at home in our home! The two bedrooms in the main house are named in honour of two of Mr Hunter's children, Harry and Clare. Then there is Ellie's Cottage, self contained and in keeping with the history, but near new and beautiful. The gardens, with a summer outdoor hot tub, are spread over half an acre of beautiful, mature English inspired rooms ... majestic trees, roses, perennials, shrubs, bulbs and a veggie and herb garden. Oh, and the girls... our chooks! Ellie Mae's Bed & Breakfast is so private and serene you just won't want to leave. Please check out our packages, getaways and platters that we have on offer.
