Ellie's Guest House Ellie’s Guest House is the ideal place for those travelers looking for affordable accommodation in a property that is very relaxing, clean and quiet.

It's family run and often the comments are "it like a home away from home." We do advise, if you are looking for a party house this is not the property for you. :-)

Situated at 124 Merthyr Road, New Farm, it is only 2km from Brisbane City Centre. Bus 199 or 196 will have you in the City within approx. 10 minutes or catch the City Cat for a lovely river trip.

End of an era 🥲
It is with mixed emotions, but after 15 years we say good bye to Ellie’s Guest House.
What started what was a vision and love for the house, Nala bought at an auction in July 2007.

We have enjoyed celebrating your milestones, met some wonderful people, and many who are like family and lifetime friends, others have been inspiring. We have seen people fall in love, engagements, marriages and babies and sadly a death. Literally the full circle of life.

Ellie’s was transformed out of love and passion of meeting people. It’s wasn’t for everyone but it was ours and we loved what we created the people we meet.

We are so proud of what we created and genuinely loved what we did.

Lilly especially lived for her daily pats and treats 🐶 ❤️

Whilst it’s the closing of a chapter, it also exciting times with weekends off 🤣😂🤣 but more importantly enjoying a new life and hopefully travel.

Thank you to every person who came thru the front gate but more importantly thank you to those life long friendship and we look forward to one day visiting your home 🏡
