⛄️ ❄️ A lovely review from a lovely couple, sounds like they had an amazing stay!
It must have been a cold one by the lakes with the temperatures dropping, so we’re really glad they enjoyed the house and stayed nice and cosy while the snow was falling. ⛄️ ❄️

Snow could fall to as low as 600 metres across Tasmania on Thursday as the coldest blast of autumn sweeps the state, with up to eight centimetres tipped to settle on the Central Plateau, according to the BOM.

A cold front will cross on Wednesday evening, dragging a southwesterly stream over the state and bringing showers, gusty winds, a possible north-east frost and a Hobart top of 13 degrees.

Weatherzone said snow could fall lower than first expected, with a freezing level near 1000 metres and Central Plateau cover ample for “snow play” and tobogganing.

A second front early Friday will extend the cold, gusty conditions and possible high-peak flurries into Saturday morning, before temperatures ease towards May averages early next week.
