Now and then!

In the September edition of the Bush Tele we take a glance at what Hawkesbury River Marina looked like in 1920. Just look at how tiny the palm trees that line the road along side the marina were!

“Four boat sheds were also built in the park, where the marina now stands. All of them did a brisk business and it was reported in 1909 that the fleet of hire craft at Brooklyn could accomodate four hundred people at peak periods. It was a splendid holiday venue.”
