Nine Wheatbelt projects will share in $766,000 in funding under Round 8 of the Cook Labor Government's Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants program, supporting business expansion, local job creation, and economic diversification.

I would love to have the lounge bar painted in the original colours. However, the cost outweighed my budget.

The last Crystal Chandelier is being installed in the front bar area. She has to be wrapped up so we can do the second coat of paint.

We still need to do the flooring, have the fridge set up and install the new glass in the windows.

Carol Bond sent me a photo of an old advert for Scueball being played at the Brookton Club Hotel.

“Found this add in an old Pingelly Brookton Leader dated Wednesday 14 October 1959 .Not sure what 'Scueball ' is or was .x

I sent Carol the following photos of the floor that we removed in the lounge bar. We found these massive timber posts under the flooring. We think they were installed to support a huge billiard table.
