Welcome to Back to the Bush, Woocoo, where your phone loses reception and somehow, you find yours (funny how that works. Never fear we do have internet if you choose to be connected) 😄
We’re Chris and Chantelle - easygoing, slightly dust-coated, bush-loving humans who’ve spent the last two years chasing horizons, good food, and skies that make you forget what day it is. Truth be told, we’ve always been outdoor people… we’ve just now committed to it properly, as your hosts. (with three kids along for the ride).
So we "create these spaces" for people who get it.
Back to the Bush isn’t 5-star city fancy…
(no valet, no rooftop bar, and definitely no cucumber water on arrival)
…but it is pretty remarkable.
Here you’ll find:
* Peace so quiet you’ll check if your ears are still working
* “Back-to-basics” living (turns out the stars do a better job than streetlights)
* Nature sounds instead of notifications
* Campfires, proper conversations, and nowhere urgent to be
Although the bush (and our page) has been quiet lately, we promise things haven’t changed. The life, the love, the skies, the bush serenity, all of it remains just the same.
Whether you’re rolling in with a van, pitching a tent, or settling into a cosy room, this is your place to reset, breathe, and remember you’re not actually in a rush.
Whilst we carefully manage the precious bush growth (and politely negotiate with nature on a daily basis), we’re gearing up to be up and running from May, and quietly confident it’s going to be something special.
With Gail supporting us, we’re proud to continue an original Back to the Bush experience, full of personalised touches and the kind of love that’s already built into the bones of the place (don’t worry, the good kind).
Now we’ll throw it over to you:
What makes “Back to the Bush” special to you?
Your favourite moments, your best memories… the stories that start with “remember that time…”
Come for the quiet, stay for the skies, and leave slightly more grounded than when you arrived.
