Our local Buffalo River CFA raised $1821 for the Good Friday Appeal. And amazing effort and thanks to all who chipped in.

Lastly, Simply K8tering have arrived and setup, close by the old toilet block, cooking up some delicious food and coffee - see their menu attached ❤️

Ausnet are aware and currently investigating. Hopefully not too long for them to rectify.

Great news for everyone camping at Nug Nug Reserve this long weekend —
Simply K8tering Food Van will be on site serving up delicious food, so you can spend less time cooking in the heat and more time relaxing and keeping cool!

With the hot weather forecast, please remember to be fire safe this weekend by following all local fire restrictions and fully extinguishing fires before leaving them unattended. All fires must be extinguished by 11:59pm tonight and must not be lit on Saturday 24th January 2026.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! ✨️

Reminder that today is the annual New Years Day cricket match out in the main driveway at 1pm with a free BBQ snag lunch.
Everyone is welcome to come and play or bring your chair to sit and watch.

There are also raffle tickets for sale to support our local Buffalo River CFA.

Tickets are $1ea or 6 for $5.
1st, 2nd and 3rd are cash prizes with the others drawn only to those who are at the draw.

They will be on sale during the cricket match, along with Nug Nug stickers and stubby holders, and drawn just after the game when the fire brigade comes down. Would love to see you all there! 🏏
