Kolan River Retreat Located on the Kolan River located 25km north from Bundaberg Qld. Peter and Melinda are the 5th generation of Andersons to own the family farm.

With Approximately 2km of saltwater river frontage and camp sites we offer fisherman choice of walking the sand flats on the making tide to launching their boat at our ramp. Our forefathers took selection in 1872. With sugar cane as the primary crop with soya beans and oats grown in recent years. We agist a small number of cattle, primarily to keep grass (fire hazard) in check, located on the Kola

n River located 25km north from Bundaberg Qld and Bargara is just 39km away. With Approximately 2km of saltwater river frontage we offer fisherman choice of walking the sand flats on the making tide to launching their boat at our ramp giving access all the way to the river mouth. With a large camp area, limited numbers taken, we offer peace and tranquillity for those wanting to escape the crowds. Our charges are per person not site to make it more economical for those travelling alone or for those with large vans/motor homes that take up larger spaces. Check in and out is flexible to suit individual needs.
