Cobber might be the smaller of the pair at 9 years old, while big Bootes is an impressive 19, and together they make for a pretty special way to explore the Bunya Mountains.

Everyone who has made the bushwalk out to Pine Gorge Lookout knows this feeling. 🌿

The moment the sunlight begins to peek through the clearing, that beautiful lone tree comes into view, and the rainforest opens up to reveal one of the Bunyas’ most magical outlooks.

These photos were captured today, and they’re a perfect reminder of why we love the Bunya Mountains. 💚
