It’s market time again.

Summertime markets – yes please!

Looking for a cooler way to do your summer shopping? ☀️➡️🌿 Head to the Bunya Mountains Markets on Sunday 25th January from 9.00am–2.00pm. Set under towering bunya pines, it’s the perfect mix of local markets, nature, and refreshingly cool mountain air.

Take your time wandering the stalls, enjoy the scenic rainforest surrounds, and soak up the relaxed mountain atmosphere. It’s the ideal way to escape the heat and spend a summer Sunday in one of Queensland’s most beautiful natural settings.

The Bunya Nuts are falling......................
(they often fall a little later in the Bunya Mts than below the Range).

Volunteers will be collecting Bunya Nuts from private properties (with property owner permission) to shuck and freeze for sale through the Bunya Mountains Natural History Association Inc (BM NHA) Cedarvale Museum. The sale of the nuts throughout the year, assists in meeting the costs of maintaining and operating the Museum.

Come join us on Sunday 22nd February to celebrate and learn about the Nuts.
Visit South Burnett's Project "Wouldn't you like to be in My Shoes" will be participating also.
The Cedarvale Museum will be open for you to explore and get to know a little more about the Bunya Mountains.
