Chris is hitting the road this Friday for the 2026 WESCARPADES!

The car is ready, the route is set, and Chris is gearing up to hit the road, and he’ll be doing it in true Evedon style, behind the wheel of his very own Toy Story!

wesCarpade is all about getting out on the road, having some fun and, most importantly, raising money for Camp Quality.
Camp Quality does incredible work supporting children and families facing cancer, helping bring positivity, connection and fun into some incredibly difficult times.

Chris has been fundraising along the way, but there’s still time to get behind him and make a donation!

Every donation, no matter the size, helps support Camp Quality and the important work they do for Aussie kids and their families. So, before Chris heads off this Friday, why not show your support and help give his fundraising total one final boost?

⛈️Substantial Rain Incoming ⛈️
So our Dam Overflow Competition is now OPEN!
☀️With the lack of substantial rain so far, we’ve been thinking FAT CHANCE of the dam overflowing this year.
☔️ However… there’s up to 15mm rain forecast overnight and 20mm-60mm tomorrow.
So, there’s a possibility- maybe🤞
Win! Guess the day that the dam chute overflows (aka Stargate SG-1 wormhole), post it as a comment below and all correct entries go into a random draw to win a $300 accommodation voucher.
Rules:
☀️We're only checking in daylight, so the day starts at 7.00am and finishes at last light (as per Bureau of Meteorology).
🎩 If multiple entries are received for the winning date - entries will be put into a hat with a random winner drawn out.
☝️One entry per person
⏰ Entries must be received before 12.01am of the day of overflow.
😆 If the dam doesn’t overflow this year before 31st October, those entries that have responded FAT CHANCE will go into the random draw.
🏆If you WIN, be scam aware, make sure you're talking to us, make sure it's our Burekup phone number. We won't ask for your details via the web, email, messenger, some random link etc. We will announce the winner on a separate post.

Today is Daffodil Day, a day to come together and show support for those affected by cancer.

At Evedon Lakeside Retreat, we’re taking a moment to recognise the importance of this day and the incredible work being done to support cancer research, patients and their families.

The daffodil is a symbol of hope, strength and new beginnings, making today a meaningful opportunity to remember those we have lost, support those currently facing cancer, and look forward to a future where more lives can be saved.

Spend the weekend at Evedon Lakeside Retreat, with good food, live music and beautiful Ferguson Valley surrounds.

Start the weekend on Friday night by the lake with Wood-Fired Pizza Night with Jack Irish. A great opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy a meal and settle into the weekend.
