Our mates up the road doing some great things! 💙🧡

We love seeing local businesses using their platforms to make a real difference in our community. 🙌

A huge shoutout to Osborne Group QLD for putting their fleet to work raising awareness and supporting some incredibly important causes, including prostate cancer, MND Queensland and mental health through the Black Dog Institute.

It’s great to see local businesses going above and beyond to support causes that matter. 👏

Well done to the whole team — making a difference one machine at a time! 💙🧡

📣 A LITTLE BOOKING REMINDER FROM THE BURPO! 🍽️

If you’ve made a booking to dine with us, your reservation is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation text message from OpenTable. 📲

We’re also still heavily under renovation until the end of October, which means we have limited dining space available while we continue transforming the Burpo. 🛠️✨

Whether you’ve:
• Spoken with one of our team members
• Chatted with our AI assistant, Lucy 🤖
• Made a booking online

👉 If you haven’t received your OpenTable confirmation text, you do not yet have a confirmed booking.

The easiest (and most foolproof 😉) way to secure your table is to book directly through our website. You can make bookings for up to 12 people online!

🔗 Book your table here: burpengarytavern.com.au (https://burpengarytavern.com.au/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Thanks for your patience and understanding while we’re in the middle of our renovations — we promise it’ll be worth the wait! ❤️

🏉 SUNDAY FOOTY LOYALTIES HAVE BEEN REVEALED… 👀😂

Apparently the Burpo uniform is just a clever disguise for what’s really underneath… UP THE WAHS! 💚💙❤️

It’s Knights vs Warriors today and someone’s already made it VERY clear which side he’s backing.

We’re not saying there’ll be workplace tension if the Warriors lose… but maybe check on him tomorrow. 😂

UP THE WAHS! 💚🏉

Who are you backing — Knights ⚔️ or Wahs 💚?

🔨 CHEERS TO THE TRADIES! 🍻

Yesterday was National Tradies Day, and here at the Burpo we reckon the legends on the tools deserve a bloody big THANK YOU! 👏

So we handed out a few Burpo stubbie coolers to some of our local tradies, because after a hard day on the tools, the least we can do is help keep the knock-off cold. 🍺😉

To all the sparkies, chippies, plumbers, builders, mechanics, landscapers and every tradie in between — thanks for putting in the hard yards and keeping Australia running. 🇦🇺

Here’s to the people who actually know which end of the hammer to use. 🔨😂

😂 And just like that… he’s walking out on us!

Last night was our Duty Manager Lleyden’s final shift at The Burpo — and apparently this is the only photo we have of him, so it feels pretty fitting. 😂

We’d like to wish Lleyden all the very best on his next venture. Thanks for everything you’ve brought to the team — it’s been a pleasure having you as part of the Burpo crew.

Good luck with whatever’s waiting on the other side of that walk… don’t be a stranger! 🍻

🚧 A LITTLE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧

Things are moving along at The Burpo! 🔨

As part of our ongoing renovations, our b**r garden has now officially joined the reno list for the next two weeks. 🍻👷

During this time, please be aware:
• Bistro dining will be limited
• Car parking will be limited
• Entry to the venue will be via the Gaming Room doors only

We’re still open, still pouring cold ones and still serving up all your Burpo favourites! 🍻🍽️

Thanks for bearing with us while we make The Burpo bigger and better. We promise it’ll be worth a little short-term chaos! 💙
