The guest suite renovations are now complete. It’s been a long process, and we thank our guests for their patience. The double glazing makes a huge difference in the winter (and we expect in the summer too!) There is the added bonus of noise reduction for undisturbed sleep. But don’t take our word for it - come and see for yourselves. You’re always welcome at Craigievar!

Our holiday rental has been closed for renovation since October 2021, as we have been living in it while renovation happened at our end of the house. Next Monday work starts on the guest suite.
New double glazed windows and doors throughout.
New reverse cycle inverter ducted air conditioning.
New skirting boards, architrave and cornice throughout.
New bathroom, new toilet, and new shower.
New LED lighting in the sitting room and hallway.
New carpets throughout.
New second toilet in the laundry.
New queen sized beds - upgraded from double beds.
We hope to have the place ready for booking by May. Updates to the renovation schedule and re-opening will be posted every few weeks. Stay tuned!

Renovations at Craigievar are moving well. Half the new double glazed doors and windows are now installed. New reverse cycle air conditioning has been installed. New cornice, architrave and skirting boards are being installed. The bathroom will
have a new shower and complete re-tiling, and there will be an extra toilet installed in the laundry. We’re hoping to be able to re-open by Easter - fingers crossed!!

Hi Everyone, We are using the pandemic to renovate our guest suite at Craigievar. Unfortunately this will mean that our guest suite will be unavailable until 2022. Building work starts in October 2021, and we expect it will not finish until February/March 2022. Changes include double glazing to all external windows and doors, new carpet throughout, a new bathroom, an extra toilet, and two new queen size beds. We look forward to welcoming you to the newly renovated Craigievar guest suite in 2022. Thanks for your patience.
