All reviews positive - past 4-a to d: a) 1. Best value accommodation in the South-West due to geographical situation, 2. everything within walking distance, great accommodation very comfortable, great hosts. b) Another very enjoyable stay at the best B&B in Busselton. c) It's been the best and most charming stay during our 6 weeks trips through Down Under. Thank you so much - Hope to see you again, d) So comfortable, homely, welcoming. Exceptional breakfast. Will have to return.

Our Bed & Breakfast is now open for business again, However, this is the only advertising you will see as we welcome many return guests, recommendations and people passing though Gale street sighting our beautiful home . Value assured for the luxury, location (Busselton city center and Geographe Bay Beach) a few minutes walk. We offer full breakfast at no extra charge at a time you choose.
Booking for Sojourn-0n-Gale suites can be made by sending a message through e-mail [email protected] and by telephoning: (08) 9751 3381 or 0418 408 890. To keep Tariff down we no longer use booking agencies (with their high commissions and we have a 3 night minimum stay (4 nights over Christmas). 🥰

Every year we see a different booking sights claiming to give the best deals on holiday & business accommodation. What they fail to tell you is they charge the B&B, hotel, motel etcetera an annual fee plus between 12% & 22% commission which, you the customer pays in the long run. Even your local Council Tourist bureau charges an annual fee + 14%. We charge less cash for better service at a cheaper cost because we no longer use booking agents. We only take direct bookings' and we even throw in a full complimentary breakfast each morning which you choose from a full breakfast menu.

We will be closed June to September inclusive except to those already booked.
Apologies to our regular guests for any inconvenience. We have only one suite left for Christmas this year. Due to retirement mode and large rooms' we have a 3 night minimum except Christmas and Easter when the minimum stay is 5 nights. Even though we provide bigger beds, large rooms and en-suite bathrooms as well as a full complimentary breakfast of choice we are in a central Busselton location, our Tariff remain well below other local holiday & business accommodation. GALE STREET derived its name from Englishman Richard Gale, born in Dorset, England 1834. Arrived in Western Australia aboard the Shanghai in 1856. Died in West Street, Busselton, Western Australia 3 January 1931 aged 96. Married to Hannah Rebecca Margaret Gale nee Spencer in 1877. He was a farmer, manager of "Fairlawn" and a public servant (politician). Brother-in-law of WA Premier Sir James Mitchell. Hannah was born in Bunbury, WA 26 November 1857 and died in Perth 1940 aged 93.

We are back to 3 nights minimum - Total Tarriff for 3 nights is $720. Breakfast complimentary. Stay 5 Nights or more save $10 per night. Stay 7 nights and save up to $210 (not including Christmas & Easter).

We no longer advertise and have a 5 night minimum stay over Christmas & New Year but am still surprised we have one of our best suites available at this late stage. Just $240 per night, close to Busselton's City Centre, the beach and the World famous Jetty.

Google Maps for "Sojourn on Gale" contained incorrect information so I checked why. 1. Among all the positive reviews there were two "Scam" reviews from people who have never stayed. Also Google Map info. showed "Sojourn on Gale Luxury Bed & Breakfast" has no vacancies anytime (people have remarked they wanted to book but saw we were full all the time. This is far from accurate. We no longer Advertise but still hold the same high standard of Accommodation, low tariff's and personal service as in previous years 2010-2020's as that when Star Ratings Australia, Booking.com & Agoda gave us the highest ratings possible. We have guests returning year after year and our other guests now come from recommendations from previous guests.
