Byron lost a true legend this week 😢 It’s with a heavy heart that we tell you that our little Maxy dog has moved on to a new paradise having blessed us with 12 years of the most loyal companionship ♥️ Anyone who’s come to stay with us over the last decade would know Max as an independent spirit who loved to run free on the beach- often resulting in endless calls from locals and guests coming to us to tell us that he was “lost” 😂 He was an indestructible doggo and had a real knack for somehow materializing at your side right as you were about to sit down for a good feed. He was a tough cookie to get any attention from but if you were one of the few over the years then you would know what a good mate he was.
Our little family and hostel won’t be the same without him, but It warms our heart to know that his legend will live on in Byron and with all of the thousands of backpackers he’s met over the years!
RIP you little nutter, and thank you for all of the cuddles, laughs, and memories ♥️
