With over 15 years of experience constructing and operating boutique guesthouses in Byron Bay, the owner, Peter, has taken a modest cottage built in the 1920s with fashionable Art Deco traits and transformed it into a spacious and peaceful retreat with stylish amenities and a great central location. Recently added is a SAUNA & STEAM ROOM and a HEATED POOL which provides MAGNA THERAPY, a beneficial

skin treatment. Also, a MASSAGE THERAPIST who provides the healing power of touch combined with essential oils for relief, recovery, lower stress, improved mental health and increased immune function. Free wifi is also provided. As an adults’ retreat, Byron Palms does not accommodate babies or children. The breakfast bar, with its views over the deck and gardens is the center of morning activity with generous servings of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, local jams and delicious Byron coffee available from 8.30 am daily. Breakfast goes till 10:30 am for your convenience. The lounge area also over looks the deck and gardens and is the perfect place to curl up with a book, listen to your music downloads and chat with your partner about the daily plans you may wish to undertake. The staff of Byron Palms can provide guests with a wide range of recommendations on the many sights and attractions of Byron. Surfing lessons, kayaking with the dolphins, bush walking, hinterland visits and dining at all levels from snack bars through to cafes and restaurants are just some of the options we can explain. At Byron Palms its comfort and informality all the way.

Our licensed massage therapist provides the healing power of touch combined with essential oils for relief, recovery, lower stress, improved mental health and increased immune function.

* Relaxation Massage: Classic Massage techniques, which include a number of gliding and kneading movements, promoting relaxation and stress reduction.

* Aromatherapy Massage: A deep relaxing body massage. Experience the ancient art of combining the sense with touch essential oils of plants and flowers.

*Holistic Massage: Are you ready for a sense of calm? Using massage combined with Reiki techniques to relax the physical body, calm the mind and clearing your chakras.

The massage therapy costs $100/hour or $80/half-hour.

The sauna and steam room can improve circulation, lower blood pressure, reduce stress, clear congestion, promote skin health, aid in workout recovery, loosen stiff joints, burn calories, boost your immune system and remove toxins.

The winter package costs $35 for the first hour and $20 for additional sessions. Guests staying over 5 nights have additional sessions complimentary.
