by picturesque countryside with a 400m river frontage, our campground is yours for:

The river is ideal for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat provides very spacious sites - all un-powered plus an abundance of open area for recreation. Each has its own BBQ/fireplace where you can cook up your meal, boil the billy or just enjoy a campfire.There are fire pits on camp sites those guests who like to have a fair dinkum camp fire. Wood on sale at the office. The campground is broad and level with plenty of shade and covered in well maintained lawns. You can pitch a tent, set up your campervan, caravan or trailer on the top of the bank and enjoy a view of the river and surrounding hillsides. There is an abundant rainforest area on the property to enjoy bird watching. Guests are welcome to wander and explore our property with its lovely valley views and century old fig trees. The campground is ideal for children to ride their bikes. It's also ideal for those impromptu cricket matches, touch footy, etc. The amenities block is clean and tidy with hot and cold showers and flushing toilets for your comfort. There is a large shelter shed with tables and seating for the use of all campers. Ice, eggs, ice creams and some toiletry items are on sale from the office. All other supplies can be bought from Mount George General Store - 15 minutes away.

Another 200 local native plants in along the Nowendoc River at Knorrit Flat! Over 50mm of rain over the past week has watered them in beautifully. Thanks to Mid Coast Council’s River Revival program for helping us protect and enhance this special part of the world!
