From 6pm, Friday 4th March, face masks will no longer be required in most settings across the state.
The mask mandate will no longer be in place in schools, shops, restaurants, cafes and most work settings.
They'll still be required on public transport, in hospitals, aged and disability care facilities, prisons, airports and on planes.
"Smiles are back," Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk addressed Parliament House today.
"This is all about getting our lives back to a new normal."
Density limits will also be scrapped in food courts, hairdressers, weddings, funerals, gyms, private residences and universities.
