🚨 NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES... ! 🚨
When you work at a caravan park, your daily to-do list usually looks like mowing lawns, checking in happy campers, and maintaining cabins. But when your workplace is surrounded by nature, you quickly learn that you're also an accidental wildlife ranger! 🦘🌿

One of our guests spotted this tiny, leggy little Bush Stone-curlew chick trapped deep inside a stormwater drain, completely unable to scramble up the slick walls. Mum and Dad curlew were pacing nearby, understandably stressed out.With a bit of quick thinking, some teamwork to lift the heavy grate, and a lot of patience, we managed to safely scoop the little guy out of the darkness and reunite him with his relieved parents. 🥹❤️

It’s definitely not in the official job description, but looking out for all of our park residents—furry, feathered, or scaled—is easily the best part of the job.

💚 When things get tough, the tough get going.

Managing a holiday park and café comes with its fair share of long days, unexpected challenges, and busy moments. But one thing we're incredibly grateful for is family. ❤️

While we manage Lake Placid Rainforest Retreat, we're also a small family-run business. When things get hectic, our family is always ready to roll up their sleeves, jump in, and lend a hand.

A huge thank you to these amazing girls for stepping in when we needed them most. We couldn't be prouder of the caring, hardworking young women they're becoming.

Behind every successful day is a team that supports one another, and we're so thankful to have family who are always willing to help when it matters most.
