About 20 years ago, we began visiting Callala Beach as weekend getaways, staying in other people’s beautiful beach homes. Immediately we fell in love with Callala and the pristine surrounds of the stunning Jervis Bay. After having a taste of Callala, we embarked on a mission to travel up the East Coast of Australia, as far as the Town of 1770 (supposedly the next Byron Bay). We wanted to see exact

ly what else was out there, and discover special places and hidden gems along the kilometres of coast. But in the end, nothing was quite like Jervis Bay. Callala Bay and the surrounding beaches have the whitest sand in the world and most amazing aqua coloured water. There is never a shortage of things to do in Jervis Bay from beaches to bike riding and ferries to feasts. You’ll even see a resident pod of dolphins cruising around this serene bay.
