We are seeking a motivated, energetic Housekeeper to join our small, friendly team on a casual basis. We are offering a Casual Housekeeping position for a 7-day roster, including school holidays and some public holidays. :)

About us:

Mariners Resort is located in Kings Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. It is close to the beach, tavern, cafes and the amphitheatre.

Our resort contains spacious and modern self-contained apartments which are a mix of two and three bedrooms.

We pride ourselves on being supportive and believe in family friendly management. We recognise the need for flexibility and understand that people have different family commitments. We will work with you to ensure each weekly roster is suitable.



Daily tasks include

*Cleaning and servicing self-contained apartments to a high-quality standard. This will include tasks such as cleaning and sanitising the kitchens and bathrooms, stripping and changing beds, vaccumming, mopping, and dusting.

*Communicating with management to ensure health and safety needs are being met. For example, reporting any maintenance issues.

Requirements:

*Ability to work individually or as a part of a small team and deliver on expectations

*A professional, positive attitude.

*Hardworking, honest and reliable and able to meet challenges in a proficient manner

*The ability to be comfortable whilst performing different kinds of cleaning duties

*A strong work ethic and attention to detail.

*The ability to use initiative

*A strong team ethic and good communication skills. Friendly and cooperative

*Must have an ABN

Ideally you will have some previous experience in a similar role or a demonstrated capacity to quickly acquire cleaning skills. However, while experience is preferred it is not essential, as full training can be provided for the right person.
