Preservation Farm Preservation Farm is a brand new, off the grid/eco, 2 bdrm self contained b&b in the beautiful Coal Relax, and enjoy the best of Tasmania!

Set in 21 acres overlooking the beautiful Coal Valley wine region, Pitt Water, and Frederick Henry Bay, Preservation Farm is a private, very comfortable, brand new/architect-designed, solar-powered retreat with very spacious, sunny 2 bedrooms (1 queen, and 2 singles), a spotless bathroom (with a shower,no bathtub), a kitchen/dining area, and a large deck to enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous view. I

t's wonderfully peaceful and quiet, yet only 12 minutes to Hobart CBD/waterfront, 10 minutes to the airport, and Richmond. There are plenty of things to do/attractions in the area: premium food, wine and whiskey trail, bushwalking trails, mountain bike trail, the beach, antique shops...
or just relax, and watch the wedge-tailed eagles, wallabies, or other wildlife that may make an appearance. We try to grow some vegetables for guests and ourselves (the wallabies help themselves too occasionally), and planted about 10 more fruit trees last year (no fruit yet though). We live in a dry area, so we have to be careful with water therefore we don't have a green lawn in the summer. We live and work with nature.....

You will be greeted by Max the Smithfield dog (we hired him because he's super friendly)..
