Mures Fishing is an iconic Tasmanian family business that offers our customers a variety of quality seafood which is sustainably caught and sourced with an emphasis on Australian wild catch, delivered in a timely and professional manner and reflecting the exceptional standard that Mures is famous for. Mures specialises in line fishing aboard our vessel, Diana. We have invested heavily in this practice, implementing Mustad automated baiting systems for our demersal longlining operation in 2002.

Just advising that our Cambridge facility and retail outlet will be closed tomorrow for the King's Birthday public holiday.

However, Mures Fishmongers on Victoria Dock in Hobart will be open from 8am to 7pm for all your seafood needs!

A quick update for our customers: our Mures Fishing outlet and processing facility in Cambridge will be closed this Saturday 25 April for Anzac Day.

If you’re after fresh seafood, our Mures Fishmongers on Victoria Dock will be open as usual and stocked with plenty of great options.

As we are normally closed on Sundays, we’ll be back to our regular trading hours from Monday 27 April. Thanks for your understanding, and we hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for all your seafood orders this Easter! We'll be taking a little break across the next few public holidays, but our Cambridge retail outlet will be open for a brief period on Saturday for your seafood needs.

As always, Mures Fishmongers on Victoria Dock in Hobart will be open all Easter long weekend.

Born with salt in his veins and fish on the line, Jock Mure is a third-generation fisher from Mures Tasmania. As Manager of Mures Fishing and Skipper of the vessel Selkie, Jock helps to oversee Mures two commercial boats, processing, wholesale and growth across local and national waters. When it comes to Tasmanian Southern Bluefin Tuna, he doesn’t just talk the talk, he reels it in from the deep south himself!

Jock will be all over the festival, but make sure to catch his two must-sea sessions:
