m Camden - a proud, historic township which offers the very best of modern lifestyle, from boutique shopping and professional services to classy cafes, country markets and a wealth of tourist attractions. FEATURES

At Camden Hillview, guests can be assured of a very comfortable stay, whether it’s for one night, a long week-end or a long sojourn. The unit includes:

• Two separate bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and walk-in wardrobe; the other with a king single bed, wardrobe. Crisp white sheets. Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan.
• Bathroom: large size shower, toilet, vanity, night light, soft white towels; utility pantry with clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. An open-plan living area which includes:
• Lounge room: comfortable two-seater and two one-seater lounge chairs, TV, DVD, ceiling fan, wall-mounted air conditioner.
• Dining area.
• Kitchen: fridge, microwave, toaster, electric frying pan, jug, fully stocked with crockery, utensils etc
Outside, the unit offers:
• Laundry: fully equipped; clothes line outside.
• Two side verandas with sitting areas.
• Completely separate entrance from the main house.
• Sensor lights.
• Off-street parking.

🤳I got a taste of the serenity and hospitality of the aptly named Camden Hillview when I caught up with Amber recently.
📘This family owned business started about 6 years ago when Amber and John purchased the house and seperate dwelling and decided it was too good not to share!
⏰ Amber had a successful career as a journalist prior to kicking off this new venture (And was very non-critical of my interviewing techniques...😉)
🎯 Put simply they provide short and long term accomodation for people who travel to Camden as a destination.
🌅Clean, pleasant and relaxing with a beautiful view and fabulous sunsets. Only 2mins from Camden (but you would never know it)
❤️Amber loves that she gets to “travel” through the vast array of visitors she welcomes from all over the world. From the Middle East to Korea and Japan, students, pilots, golfers alike frequent here.
👏There are so many great things to do around the area that Amber says she never runs out of recommendations!
💪She particularly has a soft spot for her long stay customers and during my visit a thank you dinner invitation arrived from one such satisfied stayer.
⭐️ I also uncovered Ambers passion for music and found out she is well known as a piano tutor also!
💌 John jokingly asked whether I had a spare pad when I asked if they support any local causes...I did but I noticed that RSPCA and ifaw were close to her heart.

A most glorious rainbow graced the sky over Camden Hillview just before dusk. I could not go back far enough to photograph the entire arc. And as the rainbow faded, rosy clouds took over. A beautiful ending to a rather grey and chilly day.

Banjo has been very unwell this past week. He fell awkwardly from John's truck and consequently injured his spinal tissues. S o he's been on anti-inflammatory medication as well as pain killers. Today he is feeling much better. He's more confident and cheery. I feel as if the old Banjo has come back. I want to thank all my friends and my children who called out of concern. I so valued your support and words of encouragement. I love you all, deeply and always.

Every Saturday morning Camden locals as well as visitors from out of town come to the Produce Market, which is located only two minutes from Camden Hillview. The markeys offer the freshest products - from honeys to meat, from flowers to veggies, from breads to dips and sauces - and all lovally grown or produced.
