You can now FINALLY visit us from NSW if you have a 4x4!
SA and QLD roads remain closed but hoping some will open up soon!! 🤞🏾will update when they do!
Come and have lunch for a day trip or stay the night and play a game of Tri-state golf ⛳️ We have 3 holes in each state! Clubs supplied 🏌🏽‍♂️

We recieved 121mm on Tuesday 17th March. This brings our total to about 16.5 inches for the year …so far!!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ (normal average is 7)
Our QLD neighbour, Kyla & Fred Osman from Omicron station who received 157mm have noted this is the biggest rainfall in 1 day since 1974.
First photo is a couple of locals at the corner. 2nd photo is 40km from the corner (QLD side) at the Omicron homestead.
Thankfully our buildings are all uphill!
I think the roads are closed 🤣

Well this is one way to put us on the map 😆 we are expecting more rain over the next couple of days 🫨 will keep you posted of course!

⚠️There is already a massive amount of flood water flowing into Lake Eyre with 2 months worth still coming down from QLD yet. The normally arid red landscape has already transformed into a sea of greenery with wild flowers on the way. Flocks of birds are already there as everything comes to life...
👉Another incredible widespread 50-100mm of rain is forecast over the next few days across North East SA & Lake Eyre itself, plus Southern NT, South West QLD and North West NSW.
👉Forecast data is also picking up the potential for higher falls up to 200mm in the Cameron Corner area which would be huge if it happens.
🔴This rainfall will be falling on an already very wet catchment so renewed significant flooding is a risk across the region.
🔴Locations at risk of heavy rain and flooding include Ooodnadatta, William Creek, Marree, Arkaroola, Moomba, Camerons Corner, Tibooburra, Milparinka, Innamincka, Napper Merrie and Birdsville.

Thanks to Glen Degoumois from Bollards (our SA neighbour) for allowing me to share this! This just blew my mind! The Sandhill got washed away and turned into a creek! I hope you don’t run out of beer Glen! We’ll sure have 1 (carton) to celebrate when we can meet at the pub! 🍻

FAR SOUTH WEST RAIN

Nappa Merrie Station on the South Australian border, more than 1,300 kilometres west of Brisbane, has recorded its highest rainfall total in one day, receiving 168mm in the 12 hours to 9am on Wednesday.

At Cameron Corner, store caretakers recorded 106mm on Tuesday night, bringing the two-week total to more than 250mm.

Store manager Kate Osman says she’s never seen so much rain in that part of Queensland before.

“Our annual rainfall is seven inches (177mm)…. you know 10 inches (254mm) in a couple of weeks is just unheard of where we are,” Ms Osman said.

“My dad was born and bred there and hasn’t seen anything like it since 1974.”

Ms Osman says the usually dry and dusty corner of the outback has come alive with plant life.

“It’s just amazing, it can’t get any greener.”

“The wildflowers that grow are there are just amazing. It’s normally big red sand hills but there going to be big green sand hills now!”
