Most people know it as the Council Offices or the Civic Centre. 140 years ago it started its life as the Hampden Shire Hall.

This Saturday you can get a behind-the-scenes look at this historic building as part of the Open Camperdown special event.

The 1886 building is home to a treasure many locals might never have seen – the First World War Roll of Honour. We also house the Robert Burns Statue. These are two significant pieces of Camperdown's history.

Open Camperdown will also include the historic Theatre Royal opening its doors and the iconic Camperdown Clocktower welcoming visitors for climbs on Saturday.

A host of other iconic Camperdown buildings are also taking part.

It’s all happening this Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm.
