The weather is warming up - this is a perfect spot to enjoy it. The river has fish but is also lovely and cool for swimming. BBQ and picnic table, camp fire and chairs, no-one around with just the birds singing - what a great way to spend a day.

As we near the official end of Summer, we look back at what a very different Summer it has been this year in the Southern Highlands. Lots of rain, lots of cooler days, but glorious none the less. This gorgeous Kramer Photography image captures the mist amongst the 'bales' of freshly cut hay, which is in abundance this season. Bonfire set up ready for our lovely guests. Plenty of firewood in background to keep the warmth going. Comfy chairs to sit in whilst toasting the marshmallows, and a little welcome note from our resident wombat in the foreground (can you spot it?) 😊
