It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sale of our family bed and breakfast business. With the passing of our manager Dennis last year, followed by our father Gavin, we decided to sell.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our customers who have supported us throughout the years. Our bed and breakfast will remain open for bookings until the sale is finalised, and we will do our utmost to ensure that our remaining guests have a memorable and comfortable stay.

We understand that this news may come as a surprise to some, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We want to assure you that we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for our guests, staff, and the new owners.

Vale Dennis Carr

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Carr, Manager at Cape Bridgewater Seaview Lodge Bed and Breakfast on Wednesday 7th September 2022.

Dennis was a father, brother, uncle and friend. He welcomed numerous visitors from across the globe to Cape Bridgewater during the years he served as manager.

Dennis greeted many as strangers, but they left as friends.

Dennis will be missed and forever remembered.

Cape Bridgewater Seaview Lodge Bed and Breakfast will continue to operate with all current bookings honoured.

We ask for your patience and understanding during this very sad time.
